File preparation
A clear drawing gets you started.
Send a DXF, DWG, AI or EPS file. A dimensioned drawing or PDF works too if you need us to draft the part.
Request a quoteDraw at actual size.
Use a 1:1 scale and state whether your dimensions are in inches or millimeters.
Keep the cut lines clear.
Remove duplicate lines, dimensions and title blocks from the cutting file. Keep a separate drawing for notes.
Close the paths.
Shapes should have continuous outlines. Convert lettering to outlines and bridge any enclosed centers that need to stay attached.
Tell us the material.
Include the material, thickness and quantity for each part. Call out any critical dimensions.
Include the finishing work.
Let us know if your parts need welding, fabrication or powder coating, and when you need the finished job.
